time flies

Oh, I have been the worst blogger and visitor over the past several weeks. I've got to tell you, work is kicking my butt and I apologize that I haven't been around much. I can't even believe we are well into March already. I hope things will settle down in the next month or so, please, bear with me :)

I do promise I will keep up with our {In The Picture} self-portrait project, so for those of you joining me there, never fear, I will not let that one slip. If you missed it, our optional theme for March is "black & white"(or sepia counts too, as I have done in this image above). This self-portrait was definitely a happy accident. I held my iPhone out at arm's length and snapped. Then I started running it through various apps to give it this vintage look and voila! I ended up liking the final product.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend. Linking up today at Photo Art Friday.

I very much like this photo...reminds me of what I imagine might be a Victorian lady...or even a fun girl from the roaring 20's in a quiet mood.
No worries about the visits. I've learned that blogging world is like a big merry go round spinning and spinning. Sometimes you step on and enjoy the ride, sometimes you step off for a spell, and sometimes you're on and off...no matter it's always there and always spinning.
Have a great weekend. Hope you get a break from work.

(Best of luck with the crazy hectic schedule, too... I hope you can find a few minutes to relax - and find inspiration for more great shots like this - in there)!
