central park

I took this photo with my iPhone out the window of a building on 59th Street and 5th Avenue the other day. It was hard to concentrate in the meeting I was in because my eye kept darting out the window to watch the ice skaters in Central Park. It's hard to see them in this photo, but they were there.

{taken with iPhone, processed with snapseed}

Such a beautiful view. I wouldn't get any work done if I worked in this building every day. I think the trees are surprisingly green for this time of year don't you? Sharing today at 52 Photos Project {colors of the season}.

And hey, in case you missed it the other day, I've started a new project called Me & You 52. If you like mobile photography you should check us out at our new blog and flickr group.

SOOOO beautiful.

LOVE IT!

One year, in December, we walked through central park and there were roses blooming, fall colors on the trees and piles of snow near the skating rink. It was kinda trippy.

Hi Christy....been a poor blog visitor of late. Glad I've had a chance to stop by today. Odd to see those trees in green AND ice skaters. I too would get nothing done looking at that view each day. Wish I had an iphone. I'd love to join in your link. Happy day to you, and of course to Willow.

Totally beautiful...can see how that would be a distraction!

I like the texture with the image too...makes it so pretty. Did you add the texture in camera?

So beautiful! There IS a lot of green for this time of year - last year we were rolling in snow.
I'll have to check out that snapseed app too - I have heard good things about it.

Did you take the photo in the middle of the meeting? Haha! That would be a hint to someone in the room bor-ing!

Beautiful cityscape -- and yes, very green for this time of year.

There is no place more beautiful than NYC at Christmastime! Things are a lot greener than normal here also, but that is all supposed to change tonight. Maybe Santa will have snow for his sleigh after all :-)

Thank you so much for sharing at The Creative Exchange this week.

Have a wonderful evening!

Lovely, the blurred image works well with conveying a wish-I-could-be-here mood :)

It really is beautiful. Now,I know it hasn't been cold enough for ice...they must have to work hard to keep it frozen. Our poor little ski area has been unable to make snow. Usually they are open at Thanksgiving.
