impossible mission

I had the pleasure of meeting up with Esra of Cafe Mistral on Friday for a little instant film chat and shop! I first met Esra a few weeks ago at the epic Grand Central flickr meetup. We discovered that we shared a love of old Polaroid cameras and a desire to learn more about this lost art (not so lost anymore). So we met for brunch and then took a little trip to the Impossible Project Space in SoHo.

Esra took it all in, and after careful consideration, bought herself a Polaroid 600 camera. Yay!

Esra, I had so much fun hanging out with you...and it was a great excuse for me to buy some more film for my Spectra.  You look so happy with your new purchase! I can't wait to hear how it goes.

Sweet! To think how many cameras I have thrown or given away over the years ... ouch. :)

It was so much fun. Thanks again for a wonderful day. I'm very excited. I did do a little reading and hopefully I'll experiment soon and have some pictures to show.

you are lucky having a shop right there, the nearest one to here is in Europe. My mum found an old polaroid swinger land camera but apparently they don't make film for it anymore which is such a shame! looks like you had a great day.

It's probably a good thing I live so far away from that store...
something tells me my wallet would be in trouble otherwise!
Very, very cool, U.M.!
