It's been a while since I posted any good shadow shots, so to celebrate
Shadow Shot Sunday, here we go. This is me and Willow out for a walk early yesterday morning. I like how in the second photo below you can see that her ears and her tail went up as she spotted one of her dog friends coming towards us from a distance.
This last one is at a dead end street that has a tall fence and a big gap between the buildings that allows the low morning sun to shine on through.

It's been a quiet weekend here for us. Hope you are having a great one!

Food for Thought
Must have been very late in the day (or very early in the morning) to get such long shadows!
SHADOW, SHADOW
Shadow, shadow drawing near,
You are all alone, I fear;
Let me be your new-found friend—
I’ll stick with you to the end!

Wonderful shadows! Great lines and contrasts.
I've had fun playing around some with that Camera+ app.
I just love the differences in Willow's two shadows! Dogs are so expressive with their ears and tails.

Yep, love that one with her tail up and welcoming!
Beautiful! Isn't it amazing how the shadows seem to grow longer in the fall...
Don't you just love the long shadows!? Loved your selfie muse over at MM.
Love those shots, they made me smile.
Gorgeous shadow shot. Really stunning. I recently went to the city for the first time this fall, and kept thinking how a person could spend years exploring and photographing the unique and varied corners of New York.
Your blog seems to really capture that.
Cheers,
Leah
