negative space and free hugs!

I hope you will join us over at Mortal Muses today for our Friday mosaic link up. This week's theme is negative space.

{texture by kim klassen/stamped softly}

Head on over before Sunday night to link to your negative space blog posts and flickr images.
See you there!

Also, sharing some free hugs with you today! This guys was in Union Square--and no, I didn't get one :)

Great interpretation of negative space. The focus is all on the architecture and color of the structure.

You definitely should have got a free hug!

I love the contrast of the blue on the top of the building and the sky. Beautiful image.

how funny, they had free hugs here in London the other day but the man was rather unattractive so I wasn't tempted!

Curtis Stone did a Free Hugs thing on one of his Take Home Chef episodes years ago. I would take a hug from him! :)

Sometimes, when my students say, did you bring something for us today (like on a holiday, birthday, etc) I say, no but I'm giving away free hugs! While it generally doesn't illicit a big response I have had a few kids say, "wow, awesome!" :)

Love this image and linking up made me look at negative space in a whole new way.

I really love how the composition and the colour of the negative space make the texture of the building and the colour pop. Free hugs to you too :)
