{a walk through the park}
A fun new project called Week In The Life started over at Ali Edwards place yesterday. She's encouraging people to participate by documenting their days with words and photos (and other art forms) from July 25-July 31.
{my commute}
Ali has also set up a free community space to share photos and messages over at Big Picture Classes. I wasn't sure I was going to have time to participate, but I've decided to do my own "light" version taking a few photos each day, tagging on instagram (#weekinthelife) and posting to my blog every day this week with a photo or two from the previous day.
{my crew, minus the cat, but that's OK}
I hope you will consider joining us! A big thanks to Maureen over at Cottage 960 for encouraging me to participate in Week In The Life! I am also hooking up today with Anika over at Pasando for her Tuesday phonography link and with Lisa at The Creative Exchange.

I simply adore that first photo .; teach me how to do this! ;-)
Beautiful shot in the rain Christy, love it! That diptych is quite special too, very sweet moment you captured.
Thanks for the links! Will have to check them out.
I like picture nr 1 very much, it's the umprella.
Beautiful. Your work is awesome!
So glad you got some relief from the heat. We did also, and it is such a welcome change!
This project sounds like a lot of fun, and as always, I simply love your work!
Thank you so much for sharing these today at The Creative Exchange.
Have a great day!
lisa.
Fantastic shadow in the rain image!!!
You always document your day so well that this seems like a natural fit. I feel like my days are rather boring but maybe I'll do it sometime.
Your first photo is absolutely magical -- I can feel the warm rain! The color and composition work so perfectly together. The other images are wonderful captures too.
The links sound like fun, but I am doing two on-line classes these next few weeks, so feel like I can't add anymore to my plate right now.
Love the photo of the puddle and reflection. Great work!
Wow, I just love the first shot. It is stunning.
I love the first shot of the rain. It brings back memories, when I was in Mumbai, the monsoon showers were the most anticipated and dreaded season of the year. I grew to love the rains in the five years I lived in Mumbai. This photograph makes me a little nostalgic :) It's beautiful!
Wow, I just love that first shot in the rain!
The first shot is particularly stunning!!! Love the coloration, composition, and mood of this capture. Perfect! I look forward to seeing your photos this week - a fun concept.
Perfect first shot, LOVE it!
I love the rainy reflection and the one on the subway (love the graininess!).
Gorgeous first shot. Love the peek into your day. I like that you're doing a light version. I should have thought of doing that. I wish I had more time this week.
I love your puddle reflections- such beautiful colours.
Love the idea of documenting your day in photos.
That first shot is amazing! You are so talented with that iphone:) I really love all of your photos! I didn't know about the week in the life project until today...but I usually take pictures every day anyways:)
The rain today finally broke the heatwave here too...but I can't complain about the heat after seeing you were up to 104!
Love that first photo, great composition and I love the cross processed look and the circles of the rain drops.
The second photo reminds me of a MILK photo gift book I received called LOVE. I could imagine this in there as an example of urban love.
Sounds like a great project!
Oh goodness -- those photos are stunning. I love the b+w dog ones.
That first photo is awesome!
That water shot is truly stunning, well done you x
The rainy photo is beautiful. I love the colours!
I love that first shot....and glad your weather has offered some relief. Mostly, I'm so glad to see Willow looking so happy and well (and your hubs, but it's mostly about the dog LOL)
So glad you decided to play along.
Of course you rock the iPhone shots. You do a really great job of documenting your days, I figured it would be a good fit for you. My days all have such a sameness to them, I'm trying to get creative about what I shoot. But, it's been good to keep me using my camera all day.
I love the two first photos!
So much warmth on the first, so much love and cumplicity on the second.
Found you through Lisa's creative exchange.
that first photo is so beautiful.
