week in the life {3}

Hi all!  A quick wrap up of yesterday's shots for Week In The Life.  I saw these little guys on my morning walk with Willow...

Then I came home and did some blogging over my morning coffee.  A usual occurrence...

{iPhone/Instagram}

Before work, I ran out to do some errands.  This woman lives near my branch of the NYC public library.  I often see her hanging out in her doorway when I am picking up and dropping off books...

I also saw this gentleman.  I love the movement of his clothing in this shot...

I bought some flowers while I was out--and of course, used one of them as a photographic prop!

{iPhone/Camera+/PS Mobile}

That's all for today folks.  I am enjoying this project.  I'm not necessarily taking more photos than I usually do, but it's getting me to blog every day this week and is making me more aware of my everyday routines.  If you want to check out more, Ali is doing a linky each day this week for all the participants in Week In The Life.  See you tomorrow!

what in the WHAT?!? so cool! HOW do you get these photos of strangers? They look amazing...but I'm WAY too scared to do that! Are you sneaky about it, or just straightforward?

I really love your shots of NYC. I was scanning through the front page of your blog thinking "yes! Totally! That guy with the watches in Chinatown! I know! I know!" ;)

I was going to ask the same thing as Robyn - how do you get such fantastic shots of strangers?! Both of them are so awesome!

Love the shot of the gerbera daisy - the peachy pink against the turquoise is such a pretty combo.

I love seeing all of your photos of the City. I'm about 1.5 hours north. I'm trying to get Hubs to take me in one day just so I can walk around taking photos. Yours are always stunning!

as always, great shots. Love the one of the flower. Maybe I should buy some flowers. It's Thurs and I've hit the wall. My days look so much the same, I'm going to really have to work to find something new today.

I love those shots of the people you passed. Do you get looks when you take street shots? I have not tried this yet. I'm a bit of a chicken.

I love that your blogging everyday this week. Good for you! Your photos are great, as usual. The movement of the gentleman's clothing is very eye catching and the daisy is beautiful, as well!

Although I love my life in the woods, close to nature, when I see your photos of the interesting folks on the city streets of NY.... well, it makes me wish I had access to the city too. Your captures are remarkable documents of our times - life in the city, so interesting and vital. You have made such great use of the iPhone and its apps. So, keep making me jealous :)

Love the photo of the man and his flapping jacket. He looks like he could be walking down a street in Greece. Very cool!
