silhouette and shadow
I took this photo several weeks ago and just got around to posting it. It's probably hard to visualize unless you know the spot, but it's the Hub leaning up against a short stone wall overlooking the Hudson River, the George Washington Bridge and the New Jersey horizon in the distance. I shot and processed this with my iPhone and liked the strong, stark contrast I got with this version--I think I used the format126 app.

Beautiful shots.
I don't have to know where I am to find that first shot beautiful. I love the bridge in the background. I especially like the second shot, though, and whatever kind of grate or fencing is making the shadows. Good job!

I always enjoy the silhouette patterns in your shadow shots! Extra detail is eliminated and we see only the strong essential design.
