I also have some iPhone shots from the other night. The Hub and I were walking home from dinner and the sun had just set, making for some lovely silhouettes against the wall overlooking the Hudson River and the New Jersey horizon.

I actually took this next one by mistake with a black & white app...I think I like it better this way, what do you think?

wow...great shots...love the sun in that first one...breathtaking. :)
Gorgeous photos. Love the textured one. V
i think one simple word can say enough. I love the B & W shot but also the colours in the sunset too so no help at all really sorry haha!
Beautiful.
These are so stunning! Love the top one of the bridge in the background!
Oh my word, that sunset is truly glorious! I love the silhouettes, too. Now that's something I want to be able to do well --silhouettes. Yours are beautiful. :)
Such pretty shots!
I like the one in color because the sunset is so pretty but that black and white one really showcases a wonderful silhouette shot...have you tried the new b&w films on the Hipstamatic yet?
Sunsets just overwhelm me. LOVE them.
You are so sweet to have a giveaway!
Gorgeous shots! You captured the perfect moment in that first sunset! I too keep looking out my window at dusk, I've taken so many shots of the sun dipping below the horizon in my backyard, but you've inspired me to keep at it! And I like your choice of glow. Aren't Kim's textures amazing? Yours is a very subtle use of the texture, I like that a lot. I have collected dozens of her textures and the challenge is really knowing which one will give the effect I am looking for ... such variations when you change the blending mode and percentage. I love black and white but I almost always shift back to color ... there is such richness in the subtly of that second shot ... a warm and sense of the emotion of a fragile moment conveyed through color and form.

I love the first shot and all the silhouettes...gorgeous!
I keep following your posts because I feel a connection...knowing my oldest son is living in the same location. Beautiful sunset....great application of texture and word.
How beautiful. Love all those colors from the sun. Gorgeous!
i like the sunset silhouette of what looks like a man sitting down. Love the color one better.
Sweet, sweet shots, U.M.!
It's so difficult to top a nice golden-hour glow...
Love the glow! So warm & inviting:)
i love that first shot beautiful
I love "Glow" - the bridge silhouette in the setting sun is beautiful. Of the second two, I prefer the b&w shot -happy accident!
I like glowing pics a lot. that b&w one is also pretty amazing!
Sunset is my favorite time of day and you have captured it beautifully in these shots! You've got the glow!
Lovely photos! The sunsets have been nice recently!
Love the silhouettes. Think the "accident" black and white is my favorite.
Beautiful texture and text here... :)

i love the black and white one!
These are wonderful photographs!
i especially love the first one.
Truly gorgeous.
Fantastic work on it.
I think you did an amazing job with the first photo (it really does glow!). And yes, NY summer sunsets are perfect. I'm going to miss them. I also love the silhouettes, really nice job!
Wow-oh! So lovely. I love the sky in the black in white one. It reminds me of a sky during a fire in a black and white film.
I love the rays in the first one!
The second one is my favorite, but the black and white is very cool.
Superb textures and very nice backlighting. Great heavens.
That first shot is mind-blowingly gorgeous. It's strange isn't it...I took a whole load of pics in the golden hour last night and processed the majority in black and white....
