Here Comes The Sun

Our theme this past week at Mortal Muses has been Here Comes The Sun.  In celebration of that, I've decided that I need to take this theme to heart over the weekend and think positively after having a couple of rough weeks.

I haven't taken any photos (except the ones of Willow) lately.  Last night, as I was running out to pick up an Indian food order for our dinner, I noticed this pretty sunset so I stopped and snapped a few shots with my iPhone Hipstamatic.  It was so calm and peaceful, I wish I could have stood there longer.

I posted today at Mortal Muses about the beautiful sunsets I am lucky to see out of my apartment windows during certain times of the year.  I hope you will stop over there and say hello.  Have a great weekend.

So glad you were able to enjoy a gorgeous sunset, in view of what you have been through these past couple of weeks.

You caught so many radiant colours. Love the tree in silhouette as frame. Been thinking about you and Willow.

What a great catch -
very cool how that branch looks to be curved around the sun!

Beautiful. It's kind of overwhelming sometimes when you have that moment that makes you realize you have been consumed by something. Emotions are intense... Hope you and willow are doing well...beautiful shot.

What a lovely variety of colors.

I am working backwards on your blog, wondering what has been going on with Willow. I'll get there.

Interesting that you are a knitting/fiber person, too!
