As spring arrives there are always certain things I look forward to doing as the days get warmer and longer. One of those activities is taking long walks with Willow in Ft. Tryon Park just a few blocks from our apartment. After a cold winter, she always has a few pounds to shed (don't we all?) so these walks are good for all of us. I love how she always looks for me when I drop back to take a photo! That's my girl :)
The beautiful heather gardens in this park are always a welcome sight to my eyes when they start to bloom early in the season.

And the view of the George Washington Bridge always seems a bit brighter this time of year.

We want to see your "signs of spring" photos in the Mortal Muses
flickr pool this week. Try to think outside the box and show us some of the things that you like to do when spring arrives where you live. Have a great weekend everyone!

Wow, that bridge photo is lovely...so serene looking. And those gardens! Looks like Willow has a great path to walk...and so sweet with her loving glances. Enjoyed the post.
People in Thailand throw water - lots of it - to celebrate! So I have to confess I have no pictures of that to share, as I did not want to risk my camera ;-P It sure looks like a beautiful park in which to work off some winter excesses...
Gorgeous shots! Love the photo of the flowers and the bridge.
I had the opportunity to witness springtime in NYC a couple of years ago. It was breathtaking.
We have sunshine here today too, though yesterday our April Showers fell in the form of SNOW.
