Hipsta Street Shots

I've been playing around with some new Hipstamatic lenses and films on my iPhone.  I am not sure how I feel about the results yet, but you can see for yourself...

Some of these are taken with new Tejas lens which comes with the SXSW FreePak.  Yes, this additional lens is free if you already have the Hipstamatic app, but you have to act fast before it disappears from the HipstaMart!

Aaaa, going to download now! I like it...it does seem to darken things up a bit, no? Or maybe a sepia-ish hue? You have caught some great scenes here, awesome shots.

Very nifty series of images here! Love reading that image of the van from top to bottom: One, Chicken, Taco... all it needs is please at the end, which I as viewer add! : )

Wonderful eye Christy!

Oh, I added a short entry about Mortal Muses to my site:

Wonderful. The lady in the last shot looks like she may hurt you. "Get out of my you camera-lovin' freak." :P

They look great - I like how there is an element of grit and texture to these shots ... just perfect for city photos! :)

I like the green overtones. Sometimes the city does feel exactly like that color.

And I adore the one of the lady glaring at you. Heh.

I like the Hipstar treatment - complements the grit of New York streets perfectly

Seeing what you could do with an iPhone almost makes me want to get one myself... but I am resisting. So far we're not an i-household yet. (Let's see how long that'll last.) Definitely less conspicuous than a DSLR.

I love your street shots. I LOVE them.

I like the frames a lot. I'll have to go check out the additional SXSW pac, thanks for the tip.
