Finding The Color

I've been complaining quite a bit about the lack of color in my life during this long and snowy season.  I can't remember where I read it, but on one of your lovely blogs last week someone said that you have to just go out and look for it.   So I did.

It wasn't easy, but I found some red in nature...

And some red on the streets of downtown Manhattan...

Where have you been finding color lately?

We are looking for your best street photographs on Mortal Muses this week.  Come check out our flickr pool and show us what you've got.

love your colour finding, those berries are a beautiful red. I will go out and look for colour today, more grey skies here in England.

The berries are a gorgeous colour and really stand out against the snow. Lovely pics :)

I've been starting to feel like we're at that point where everything is just shades of gray. Maybe I need to pay better attention to my surroundings. I could definitely use a punch of color.

I CRAVE color this time of year. Those berries look soft without being too bold. Great captures!

Color, or the lack of it, seems to be on everyone's minds these days! I wrote about it this week too. Beautiful red berries.

I went looking on the weekend and found some lovely mossy green, but nothing as bright and cheerful as your red. Lovely photos.
