City Scenes

We've been blogging about street photography over at Mortal Muses this past week.  If  you've been here before, you know I pretty much have no problem taking photos of strangers. I'm not saying it's the easiest thing in the world to do, but where I live it is hard to resist.

I hope you will check out my post over at Mortal Muses today.  In the meantime, here are some of the other shots from my recent NYC street ventures...

Lost tourists...

Happy tourists...

Cell phone texters...

Shoppers...

Strollers...

Families...

And of course, I got some dirty looks.  It's all part of the game...

OK, so go show some love for my street photography post over at Mortal Muses...please?  Thanks!!

Street photography really only works in NYC. There's something about those streets.

I agree, it does really work in new york, Kent doesn't have quite the same magic. I love these and loved your post at mortal muses.

this is great. I don't do this myself though. I usually get people's backs, lol

As I commented at Mortal Muses...these are the kinds of shots that make me wish I lived in the city!

Fabulous shots. The 2nd from the top capturing 2 people, each absorbed within the life of their cellphone, is historical. And now, me and my photo love are on our way over to Mortal Muses...

Love these! You are so good at capturing the NYC streets. I've had my share of dirty looks too. I just smile and say "tourist" because I usually am.

I love all these shots, I always feel so self-consious when I have my camera out around people, but you make it look so easy, the pictures are terrific.
