In A Fog

The New Year hasn't gotten off to the best start for our family.  I won't bore you here with the details....I am sure things will pick up soon.

We woke up to a very thick layer of fog this morning---it felt kind of symbolic.  I can usually see the Hudson River and New Jersey from my windows.  Not so earlier today out my bedroom window...

After a couple of hours, New Jersey peeked her head back out, but the fog still hovered over the river for a while longer...

It's still a grey day outside, but things are brightening up here already...

Starting the year off with a 'fizz' is never fun - hope things start getting better soon. Beautiful cold and chilly pictures again reminding me that there is beauty in winter even if I'm not quite "feeling" it. You're encouraging me to pick-up my camera and get outside again. Thanks!
