Cold Bridge

I had a few extra minutes on my way to work yesterday morning and decided to run out onto the Brooklyn Bridge to take some photos. It's been a while since I've had a chance to get out there and I didn't want to let the cold day stop me.  Perhaps I should have.  It was SO windy I could barely keep the camera still, and SO cold that my fingers could barely work the controls on my camera.

Of course I still took a whole bunch of pictures.  Hey, I was out there and didn't want to waste a trip.

Brooklyn Bridge, with the Manhattan Bridge peeking up in the background...

Manhattan Bridge shot through the suspension cables of the Brooklyn Bridge...

I even managed to pull out the iPhone for a few...

And I caught this water tower too...

My hands are just about thawing out now.  If it's winter where you are I hope you are staying warm!

I LOVE your bridge shots - they are always a unique mix of industrial and romantic - I don't know how you do it.

Beautiful photos - it was worth you freezing your butt off. I have a thing for water towers and that last picture is gorgeous.

The light in the top two photos is breathtaking. That amazing work, especially considering how cold you must have been.
