Thankful Boy

My Hub and I dream of having a home where someday we can have a big Thanksgiving dinner.  Our small New York City apartment--as much as I love it--just won't cut it for preparing and serving a meal to more than 9 or 10 people comfortably.  And even that's stretching it.

I think I have mentioned here before that The Hub is a great cook.  It's a shame we don't have the space to host a Thanksgiving feast for our family because he's been practicing for years....

{The Hub, circa 1980}
Alas, we made the trip to my Dad's yesterday, and I am thankful to live close enough to have been able to spend a lovely day with my father, brother, nephew and the rest of our crew.

I am participating in the Mortal Muses "We Are Thankful" blog hop this weekend.  And if you missed my guest post about iPhoneography over there the other day, you can click here to check it out.

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you had a wonderful one. That picture of your hub is hilarious.

We squeezed six of us into our apartment this year. Last year I think there were ten. It was a little tight.

Ha - we should join forces. I have a house, but neither of us has the skills or desire to cook the big dinner, so we are always delighted when some kind friend takes pity on us and invites us over!
