More Farm Animals...

Just a few more photos from my visit to Rhinebeck on Saturday.  I think that seeing the animals may have been my favorite part. No, really, even better than all the fibery goodness on sale.  C'mon, look how cute this guy is...

And I loved these beautifully carved pumpkins...

Perfectly themed for a sheep & wool festival!

Those sheep are adorable. Take me back to my childhood, we raised sheep and I even had one I bottled fed because he was rejected by his mother. He followed me everywhere. I named him trouble because he was a pain.

I loved the animals and the pumpkins too! :)

I didn't know you would be there or I would have suggested we meet up one of the days! :)

The sheep really are neat. I am amazed how people take the time to sculpt in something that is so temporary. It is neat but will be rotten soon.

Someone commented that the carvings are temporary but beautiful. By the look of those tags on the sheep, they are destined for mutton stew one day, too. Ahhh life in the country!
