Catch Up: Maker Faire

I've been wanting to post a few photos from the Maker Faire and am finally getting a chance to catch up.  You may have seen my earlier post about the rocket yarn-bombing, but there was so much more to see.

Like fire balls...

Bicycles that look like fish...

Giant pots of paella...

People dressed in gold bathing suits of some kind...

...and lovely spinning demonstrations...

Something for everyone, I'd say!

We also had a great view from the 7 train on our way out to and back from the fair in Queens.  Here are a couple of shots through the subway windows...

Have a great weekend everyone.  I will be away for a few days---heading out to South Bend, Indiana for some football and tailgating at Notre Dame.  I'll be back online Sunday!

I went to Maker Faire a couple of years ago in Austin. It's such a cool event. Have fun with your football weekend!
