A big thanks to my neighbor Rachael and my blog friend Cathy who each pitched in to make a square. Cathy mailed hers to me from North Carolina! All told, I've now got 9 feet of knitting love to add to the rest of the colorful squares that will adorn the rocket come Saturday morning. (after the event, the squares will be made into blankets and donated to charity)
If you are in NYC it's not too late to participate. Lion Brand is hosting two knit nights to make squares for the event. Click here for details, and happy knitting!

That is really awesome! I love all your colors, and it's super cool that you're doing this.
Are you going to the Faire?
I love all the bright colors!!!
I love all the colors.
Thanks for the shout out! The squares look great!! I can hardly wait to see and hear all about it. Thanks for the opportunity to participate.
Can't wait to see the end result!
Very pretty. I wish I could knit!
The squares look great - I've been knitting a square a month for a Rav swap this year. They take a little longer than I anticipated but I'm looking forward to having 12 squares at the end of it to make into a blanket.
Sounds like a cool project!
What a great project, love the colors! Wish I was able to knit or crochet, guess I need to take another lesson from my mother-in-law!
Hi, this is Jess from Lion Brand. I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for helping us yarn bomb Maker Faire! It's going to be a fantastic event, and we couldn't do it without you. Your squares look so beautiful and colorful. Thanks for your hard work! If you attend Maker Faire, be sure to stop by our booth and say hello.
