Shadow Shot Sunday - Dog Walk

We have been dog-sitting our neighbor's dog for the past week while they are on vacation.  Meet Ginger the poodle.  We like to call her G-dog.  The weather here in NYC has been gorgeous the past few days.  Sunny, no humidity, and pleasant temperatures. I took Willow and Ginger on a long walk this morning.  It's not easy to get them in a photo together.

The early morning sun made for some good, long shadows.  I think Ginger is perhaps scared of her own huge shadow here.

I like this one against the brick wall.  I am posting it as my daily shot for my365 on flickr.
That's Willow's big girl shadow on the right.

{4::365, iPhone, Lo-Mob, Photocard Three, 8/29/10}

For anyone who saw my post and commented the other day, I've decided to do a general 365 photo project and not confine myself to the use of only my iPhone camera.  So it's a my365 and not an i365, although I think you will likely see me leaning towards iphoneography for a while.

Happy Shadow Shot Sunday.

And don't forget to check out Sundays In My City.

Willow looks so big next to Ginger!

And I like the one with her by the brick wall too.

Love the colour that the brick wall gives to her - great shot. Glad you had a great walk too. I'm another 365 adventurer - looking forward to the journey. Hugs Cherry XXX

Beautiful shadow shots, and such cute subjects! That long shadow of Ginger really is kind of spooky - I can see why she might be a little nervous! Great photos!

Have a lovely Sunday!

I can see why it is hard to frame both dogs at once! Such a big size difference. Love the brick wall picture too.

A dog scared of it's own shadow. Too funny! I bet it barks and carries on like it pretty tough though. ha ha! Small dogs usually do.

Shadow shots are fun....and I think with dogs the four legs on the ground make it even more interesting. Love G-dog against the brick wall.
