"Urban" Photo Challenge

I took a bunch of pictures yesterday in the Union Square area.  I am not sure which of my unsuspecting subjects feels more "urban" to me.

Guy on fire escape overlooking traffic on 14th Street...

...or.....

...Guy on iPhone outside subway station...

Check out more "urban" images at Ashley's blog...she is hosting the "In a Yellow House" photo challenge for the next several weeks. (thanks Ashley!)

Hey, I was taking photos at Union Square yesterday also. However I was there in the early evening. Did you see the guy who was making the sand art near 16th and Union Square West?

I love them both - the first shot makes me think of RENT. Great entries. I always worry about taking pictures of people that I don't know...how do you get away with it?

Great shots! This is the perfect theme for the Urban Muser!

They are both totally urban - I think I like the fire escape one the best. It's so kismet.

The second guy has tattooooos.... Very urban. I love stereotyping. ;)

Oh WOW...I love these! I can't believe the guys were posing like that. You couldn't get a model to do it any better than that. Outstanding - I love it! :-)

Both are great images - I especially love the composition of the second.

Cool photos! Both are very urban to me, but especially the guy on the phone.

I love both of the pics ... but what's with NYC guys? They all have to be "leaning" on something. Union Square looks like the "left arm lean" :)

I love the guy on the fire escape, and I also miss NYC! We were there a couple of months ago. :)

Just stopping by from the FF post on BlogFrog!
