I recently bought the book Yarn Bombing: The Art of Crochet and Knit Graffiti and I am loving it. There are amazing photos of yarn bombs from around the world and instructions on how to take your own knitting graffiti to the streets. Hmmm....very inspiring.
I also love this installation that was spotted in February in Union Square. In addition to Gandhi's garb, they also made hats and scarves and set them out for people to take if they were in need of a little warmth. Great idea. Here's a photo of the Gandhiwarmer.
